My first blog.

Hey everyone! This is terrifying but I’ve decided to start writing a blog. It wasn't a New Years resolution but I guess maybe it has turned out to be. This is something that is very outside of my comfort zone. I have always struggled with writing and I am not very good at it so bare with me. I have thinking about it for a while and if finally decided to try it. lol Who knows this may be the only post you see from me. In school I always dreaded writing assignments and apparently I still do lol. Even though writing not one of my favorite things to do I feel like it is important so I am willing to give it a try. I’m hoping to share design tips, my workflow process, current projects, struggles of designing, and just different things about my life especially now that I am traveling.

There’s several things about me in my bio but there are many things that are not. Currently I am traveling with my husband Jason for his job. He is a Radiologic Technologist. We originally lived in Chattanooga Tennessee but now he is working for a travel company and about every 3 months we go to a new location. One of the many nice things about graphic design is that I can do it from anywhere (as long as I have a good wifi connection).

We started this journey in February 2019 and started in Lebanon New Hampshire. We actually ended up extending our contract and spent about seven months there. We took a few weeks off to spend with family in June. We even went on a camping trip out to Utah. After a time in New Hampshire we came back to KY/TN for a few weeks around Thanksgiving. On December 12 we headed to our new location in Marshfield Wisconsin. I’m still adjusting to the snow and the cold, but it was really nice having a real white Christmas this year. I can't wait to see what this year has in store!

Whew... First post done! It is short but its there lol. I hope you all have a great week!
